September 2018 Newsletter

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.
(Psalm 37:5-6)

Dear Friends and Family,

Greetings in the precious name of Jesus! Once again I have kept this month’s newsletter short intentionally. Please take a few moments to read our update so that you can pray for us. We value your prayers more than ever at this time.

Important Update from the Bible Institute, Part Two
The past month at the Bible Institute has been exceptionally difficult. At the request of the Bible Institute’s Board, the Acting Principal and I have been working through a very sensitive issue which has affected nearly everyone at BISA in one way or another. I am not able to share more details at the moment, but recent events will have lingering effects on many.

Please be in prayer for the Bible Institute as we continue to minister to the needs of staff and students in a particularly challenging time.

Please pray for wisdom as it is becoming difficult for me to find a way forward.

Please pray that God will uphold our family in the coming weeks and months.

Support Update
We give thanks to God for providing for our needs. We are also thankful for each and every gift that was given to support our ministry over the past month. Unfortunately, we continue with a monthly shortfall of more than $450. Our support account has a $5,000 deficit. Recent policy changes at SIM Canada mean that this shortfall is affecting our personal finances more than in the past. Please pray that our current needs will also be met.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him… (Psalm 37:7a)

Blessings in Christ,

Tim & Kristina Churchill
