Prayer Request and Travel Update

Dear friends.

Greetings from Zambia! After four years of ministry our time here is drawing to a close. The goodbyes have been said, the packing is (nearly!) finished, and we are about to leave the place that has become home to us.

Our schedule for the coming week is quite busy. We fly out of Ndola tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon for South Africa, where we will deliver our remaining possessions into storage awaiting our return in August.

We will stay in Cape Town for a few days, visiting with the leadership of the Bible Institute of South Africa where I will be serving, and also arranging temporary accommodation for when we return.

On Wednesday we depart Cape Town for St. John’s, Newfoundland, arriving early in the afternoon on Thursday.

It is difficult for us to even conceive of the changes we are experiencing as we try to come to terms with the reality that we are leaving our current home in Zambia, as we will be passing through our new home, Cape Town, and when we finally arrive back in our old and familiar home, St. John’s.

Please pray for us as we make this journey. We value your prayers for our family, especially as we are leaving behind many friends in Zambia. We also ask that you pray for our travels, that we – and our bags – would make it to Cape Town without incident tomorrow, and that our trip back home to St. John’s would also go well.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you soon, and we thank you for your prayers.

Blessings,
Tim, Kristina, Anna, Sarah, and Katie
