God Is Answering Our Prayers

The past month has been quite eventful. Please join us in praising God for answering our prayers and providing for our needs.

Full SIM Members

When Kristina and I first applied with SIM Canada we were accepted as associates, which meant we could serve for a period of up to two years. But since we desired to make a long-term commitment, we immediately applied to become full SIM members. The final step in this extensive process involved interviews which were held in Fredericton on March 5.

I was interviewed by Gregg Bryce, Executive Director of SIM Canada, and Jim Longworth, Director for Atlantic Canada. Kristina was interviewed by Jim’s wife, Barb, and Heather, a member of SIM Canada’s national council. Following the interviews, both Kristina and I were accepted as full members with SIM Canada.

New Partners

We are praying that God will provide the support we need to move to Zambia by September 1. In February we began sending out newsletters asking for people to partner with us. The response has been an answer to prayer!

Here is a summary of the progress we have seen:

35% of our prayer partners
26% of our on-going monthly support
70% of our one-time expenses

Thank you to those who have committed to partner with us in prayer and by giving!

As you can see, we have made great progress, but there is a long way to go. Please pray that God will provide partners to meet our remaining needs.

Jesus to the Nations

I will be attending Jesus to the Nations, “Atlantic Canada’s Missions Conference”, from March 25-27. Please pray that God will provide at least one significant contact at this conference.

Once again, thank you for your prayers! We have seen God at work in our lives in amazing ways recently, and pray that he will continue to meet all our needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
